What is World Press Photo?
Organised by Photographic Social Vision, the World Press Photo is the most recognised exhibition in the field of photojournalism. The exhibition brings together the winning photographs and multimedia productions of the annual World Press Photo competition, including all regional winners.
This exhibition presents mostly unpublished works, selected for their visual quality and offering different points of view on current affairs. They offer multiple, panoramic and thought-provoking views.
From 2022, the world's most prestigious photojournalism competition is based on a territorial model, dividing the world into six regions with a total of 24 regional winners. In addition, the thematic limitations of previous editions have been eliminated and new format-focused categories have been created: Individual Photographs, Photo Reportage, Long-Term Projects and Open Format.
